Christmas Morning

This year we spent Christmas at our home in Alliance since we will be traveling for our anniversary. Lilly began getting excited for Christmas at about Halloween time which made it so fun. And after weeks of telling Santa, writing Santa, and wishing upon stars she finally got to open her big gift item: Her baby doll! She also enjoyed getting a Bell Ornament in her stocking and a piggy bank she named Joseph. No idea why.Ivy was excited just to tear paper. But when she opened her baby doll she got so excited she began squealing and laughing with excitement which ended in a big hug to her baby. Aaron has been playing his new game he got all morning. And all of us girls got new pajamas! We are having a very merry Christmas and wish you one too!

SANTA!!!

At the branch Christmas party Lilly finally was able to sit on Santa's lap. She was so excited but also a little confused. She kept wondering if she was going to get to go to church the next day with Santa since it was at the church.

First Birthday of our Second Baby

Our little Ivy turned 1 yesterday. This year has flown by so fast! I can hardly believe it! Ivy loved eating her cookie monster cake. But eventually she decided it belonged on the floor. That's a perfect example of our little stinker!

Halloween Marathon!!

This year for Halloween Lilly went as Belle and Ivy went as a Lion. But we figured Ivy looked enough like it that we decided to say they were Beauty and the Beast. We did a lot this Halloween! We went to this Alliance Spooktacular where they had bunch of fun activities like face painting, "cookie walk", decorating pumpkins with stickers, and a costume contest where the girls both won something. Afterwords we hustled on over to our church's Trunk or Treat and Chili Feed. There they had a carnival area as well and then of course the Trunk or Treating where Ivy got to try her first sucker and , man, did she enjoy that! Later on in the week at Library Day they also had a little Halloween party where Lilly got her face painted again, this time like a flower. And then on Halloween Lilly's preschool had a Halloween party where she won the "cutest little princess" award. After school we hit down town trick or treating. And then picked up daddy and did some more trick or treating. Over all we had a very busy, very Halloween-ie couple of weeks! And way too much candy!!!

The Tew's visit to Nebraska

My parents came to visit a couple of weeks ago so we showed them the wonderful sites of Alliance! First off was Carhenge which my dad really enjoyed but it was bitter cold when we went. I think Lilly froze into an ice cube within the first 5 minutes! We also showed Then Lilly wanted to show them our Boo Bombs and Popping Pumpkins we had just done a few days before. Baking Soda and Vineger...always fun! Then we went to Central Park which is one of my favorites. It was just too bad that the fountain was already turned off. But by the end of their visit I was beginning to wonder who's vacation it was with all the help i got with the girls. It was so nice! We always love when grandma and grandpa come to visit!
