Ross's Scare

Two days ago Aaron and I were watching a movie and Ross was roaming around the house like she always did. But when she came back in the room to see us she was eating something. Aaron instantly felt something was wrong and ran to the source. It was rat poison and more than half was gone.Turns out the land lady hid it behind the toilet where none of us had see except for Ross. I began flipping out but aaron calmly called the vet's emergency number. He told us to force ross to drink as much hydrogen peroxide as possible so she would throw up till all the poison was out of her system. I had to go to work the next day so i didn't see ross till after work at 5pm. though she had thrown up all the poison, she wasn't her excited self at all! She barely looked up at me....NOT like her!!! I called aaron(who was out getting our washer and dryer) and told him i was taking her to the vet and he would meet me there. They looked her over and apparently she ate more than we thought. The lethal dose for a dog her size is a pound of rat poison and she had only eaten a quarter of a pound. So they had to keep her over night to watch her and her puppies. We got to take her home today and she definitely had more energy than the night before. We just now have to feed her Vitamin K for the next 40 days. But all in all, it was a very close call!!

Ross and Fun Around the House

So just before we moved up to Havre we discovered Ross (our little toy rat terrier) was in heat. So since she was so expensive buying her, we decided to breed her so we could sell her puppies. She's due October 25th-ish and has an adorable little bump going on. I don't know how well you'll be able to see it but she sure is a cute little momma. We also took a few pictures of how ridiculous the doors in our house is. There is such a huge space between the carpet and door that we took pictures of each other on the other side. Enjoy!

New Adventures

Hey everyone! I know its been a wile. We have been in the process of moving for quite some time so my camra was packed away. But here's whats new:
We moved to Havre, MT in the end of August. We had a place we were relying to live in but that ended up falling through. So we lived in a tent at Evergreen Campground owned by members of our ward up here so they let us stay for free. I think we picked probably the hottest time of the year to live in a tent. 90 degree weather was pretty much the norm and sometimes it got higher!! Aaron began going to school wile i searched for jobs. It didnt take too long before I got a job at Gary & Leo's IGA as a cashieer. I also a job at a salon in one of the malls called Damerohs. I absolutly love it at the salon!! Im one of the receptionists . But I think my many years of being kim's guinni pig finally paid off because they were and still are seriously impressed with my knowledge in hair. So i was doing that during the days and at night we hung out with a family in the campground that became our really good friends. They lived in a camper so we mooched their A/C. Aaron knew it would be hard for me on my birthday being away from my family. I sorta accepted i wasn't going to have much of a birthday, since we already celebrated it in Bozeman before we left and since we were living in a tent. But i came back from work that day and Aaron had gotten the family that befriended us and also the family that owned the campground and had a party for me. We had Pizza, cake, ice cream...the whole nine yards. They even all gave me presents!!! He's such a fabulous husband!! The camper friends ended up moving into their house a little after that so they said we could use their camper till we got things laid out for us. So we lived in their yard in the camper for another week. We FINALLY got a house and moved in last Sunday. Actually its a trailor but after weeks of living in a tent, it might as well be a house. But we havent completly unpacked yet so we'll show pictures when it looks pretty.
