Great Grandma Joyce and Steak

Aaron's Grandma Joyce (and Lilly's middle name-sake) lives up here in Havre. She loves to hold her newest Great Granddaughter. Yesterday wasnt the first time Lilly has met her Great Grandma Joyce but it was the first time we brought the camera. Also on Fathers Day we had steak. It was so huge that Aaron actually cut in half so we would each have a piece. As you can tell it almost covers the griddle. It was very good though!

This last Friday was Aaron's 24th Birthday. On Saturday we had a big barbecue for him with our friends and had a lot of fun.

So I could have left yesterday at 6pm. But I stayed till today to get help with the lactation nurse and to get more sleep. But it was good to come home.The dogs were excited to see me and very interested in our new little family member. My mom will be up for a week so that will be a big help when Aaron goes back to work. I'm excited to have Lilly as apart of our everyday lives.

Last night at about midnight Lilly had her first bath. Ohhhh! She did not like it one bit! But now that the gunk is all out of her hair I think she is a brunet like her mama. She is such an adorable baby! We cant get over her! We are so blessed!

Tired Mommy & Baby!!!

Today I was induced at 8am. My doctor broke my water at 9:30am. And by 5:25pm (with only 20 minutes of pushing I might add) Lilly Joyce Tuck was born into this world. She weighs 8 pounds and 10 1/2 ounces and is 20 inches long. She is so beautiful! The doctor say's she has strawberry blond and curly hair but to us it looks brown. Maybe she just needs a bath. We absolutely love her to pieces! More pictures will be coming!

Last Prenatal Appointment

Today at the doctor appointment my doctor gave me an ultrasound. Everything is okay with Lilly. She was actually practicing breathing. And the doctor said she was trying to talk to us. She printed out pictures for us but we really couldn't tell what we were looking at since she is so big. The doctor said she looked about 8 pounds. And she was so low that the doctor didn't even know how i was able to walk. Trust me its a mystery to me too. Not without difficulty I might add! But then she said today and tomorrow they're pretty full at the hospital. So on Thursday at 6am they will induce me!!! YAY!!! We were hoping for sooner but are excited none the less since we actually have a time frame now! Hooray!!
